International Forum "Women’s Leadership in Times of War 2.0"

Join us for the International Forum “Women’s Leadership in Times of War 2.0” on 27–28 November in Copenhagen, Denmark.

This Forum, organised by ALDE Party, Venstre, Moderaterne, Radikale Venstre and Sluha Narodu, aims to build upon the impactful first edition, held earlier this year in Kyiv, Ukraine, and seeks to highlight the critical role of women in leadership during times of conflict. 

In Copenhagen, during the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, we will gather political leaders, parliamentarians, civil society representatives, and defence experts from across Europe and Ukraine to continue this important dialogue.

The programme will address:

• EU Enlargement and Integration – challenges, opportunities, and the role of women leaders, in line with the Danish Presidency’s priorities;
• European security and defence – including the contributions of women in shaping policy, serving in the armed forces, and driving innovation;
• The resilience of democracies – with a particular focus on Ukraine and its European path.

The programme begins with a dinner on the evening of Thursday 27 November with the main day of the discussions on Friday, 28 November.

The event will take place at the Ukrainian House in Copenhagen.
