About the Event 

On 22 March 2026, Slovenian liberal party ​Freedom Movement won its second parliamentary elections. Polling at 20 % at the start of the campaign, the party finished first with 28,63 % of votes and became the second leading government party that secured another mandate in the history of independent Slovenia.

What was the strategy behind it all? How did the party connect with voters directly and online? How did it manage to turn foreign influence to its benefit? And how did one of the candidates win over a non-liberal constituency?
